Beauty recovered

April 8, 2011

Today’s most is simple.

i am reorganizing my pictures, and having fun enjoying those that I forgot about (it’s so sad that for the most part, my pictures just live on my hard drive, unappreciated and unloved!)

I posted some pictures a while back about Grand Prismatic in Yellowstone National Park (a trip I took 4 years ago) and how I wish I had a wide angle lens when I was taking pictures of it…

well apparently I did have a wider lens then I thought.  I just never went back and finished editing all of those pix!

Here are a couple:

I love these! The fallen petals are absolutely evocative, and the second shot of the Grand Prismatic is alluring. Great shots!

Fantastic pictures! I’ve been to Yellowstone – great place for taking pictures. I got some great ones of the local wildlife when I visited 2 years ago. We couldn’t see the Grand Prismatic well when we went because there was a really heavy fog.

so sad that you didn’t get to see grand prismatic! it was definitely cool – but you have to climb up somewhere high to be able to see it. Otherwise all you see is the smoke coming from the water. I was really dissapointed when we first saw it. Then we saw the hill in the background, drove up to it and climbed till we had a good view. Then it was awesome!
