The daffodils are making their way out of their little buds. I’m so excited to see what this new land will bring with the spring!

I love seeing the daffodils coming up. We’re surrounded by them at the moment-such happy little flowers! Nice shots!
Thanks! I definitely agree! I even see them along the road and in the middle of the busier streets and it just makes me smile!
Love them! The intensity of the colors is great, and the bokeh is amazing. What lens did you use?
THanks! I used the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 prime. Several years ago I actually bought it’s much cheaper conterpart, the f/1.8 – and at the time thought – why would you spend $250 more on the 1.4? Well, in fall of last year I was using it more and more since it is small and makes taking my 5D around not so unmanageable…and found that it was REALLY slow with focusing and I just wasn’t happy with the results. So I bit the bullet and got the better lens, and i LOVE it. it is great! It’s still not my favorite, especially for bokeh (my canon L 70-200 f/2.8 and macro L 100mm), but it is definitely awesome and I am having fun shooting with it!
Very nice – the last shot is especially beautiful! I love seeing the flowers return after a long winter.
thanks holly! i agree – it just adds to the cheery-ness that the sun is finally bringing =)
