Felt monster

Meet Mr Happy.  He is Radha’s little friend.  He is made out of felt and took me all of about an hour to make! (Yes, I know it looks like it should have taken 15 minutes…but I’m a beginner, remember?)

I plan to make more…we’ll see what designs I come up with.  Hopefully my techinique will get better – this was one of my first experiments with applique work.  The possibilities are endless!

A couple notes

-I originally planned to make this a stuffed monster…I quickly abandoned that to make a faster option

-if you notice, I top stitched (not very well) the bottom of the monster instead of hand stitching it.  Another shortcut (kind of like how I cook =)
